Before you go...
This exhibition was not conceived as a complete conclusive examination of Indigenous Appalachia. Over the course of the past year, Indigenous and Non-Indigenous scholars, artists, writers, librarians, communities and more contributed and gained new understandings and connections with Indigenous Appalachia people and culture throughout the process. We sought to provoke conversation, one we hope will continue outside of this exhibit.
