Printed Ephemera

Of the entire collection or 72,000 items, just eight items are Native American related including articles, pamphlets and other printed materials, from 19th century, undated and to 1993, from settler-perspective histories of territory wars, to an Indian captivity story, to a copy of script by Turkey Tayac, legally Philip Sheridan Proctor (1895–1978), a Piscataway leader, and a 1993 Thanksgiving Address “greetings to the natural world, Ohen:ton Karihwatehkwen, words before all else,” produced by Native Self-Sufficiency Center, Six Nations Indian Museum, Tracking Project, Tree of Peace Society.
